Scrap Nook Has a NEW CONTEST--Get Ready for a THROWDOWN!!!

Are YOU ready to RUMBLE??  We are introducing a brand new contest that will take place beginning on August 1, 2010!! Here’s how to enter:

 

·    Pick up a sample sketch from the Scrap Nook ANYTIME  between the 15^th and 31^st of the month (Or get it off our website). 

·    Create a layout following the sketch.

·    Turn your layout in to the Scrap Nook by the 1^st of the month.

·    Come in a VOTE for your FAVORITE layout all during the month!

·    The WINNING LAYOUT wins $25 to spend in the store!

 

RULES:

1.    The layout MUST follow the sketch, but it does not have to be exact.  Major elements of the sketch must be present.  Clip art included in the sketch may be changed or substituted.  You may also add to the sketch as long as the basic design is evident in your layout.

2.    No photographs can be showing.  If you use photos, they must be covered up.

3.    Layouts are due by the 1^st of the month.  No late layouts will be accepted.

4.    You may use ANY PAPER, EMBELLISHMENTS, AND/OR DISTRESSING tactics you choose.

5.    There WILL be a Designer Challenge (One of the Scrap Nook Designers will create a layout).  You MUST beat the secret designer to win the challenge.  If you come in SECOND behind the designer, you will win a $15 credit to the store.

6.    Each person may VOTE ONE TIME per day. 

7.    PURCHASE is required to vote.  The purchase can be ANY AMOUNT.  (This will hopefully eliminate the problem of people sending in groups to vote multiple times a day).

8.    WINNERS will be announced at the BEGINNING of business on the 1^st of each month.

Meet Lindsey

Lindsey is our very own Creative Specialist.

She loves everything vintage and gets her inspiration from the paper itself.

Lindsey previously taught classes

at our Springfield Store

 and at our Spring Retreat.

She will be teaching classes at our Bolivar Store

and we are happy to have her working in the store

a couple of days a week
