Our fall retreat is FINALLY being announced!
We will have our annual get together at Windermere on Beautiful Lake of the Ozarks! Our retreat dates are October 21-24, 2010. I have made a few changes to the meal options and day options, but we are still allowing you to choose a two or three night plan.
The main difference is that we were paying for breakfast for people who were NOT eating breakfast—LOTS of people. So, we have a breakfast add on this year. If you would like breakfast, it will be an add on charge of $17.25 for three days (Friday-Sunday) or $11.50 for two days (Sat-Sun). This is the actual cost of the meal at Windermere, and the Scrap Nook will not make anything from this charge.
You will receive either two or three nights lodging, a FABULOUS GOODIE BAG, and either six meals or four meals depending on the option you choose! We will also have drinks, and prizes galore along with contests and challenges to see who the SOUL SURVIVING Scrapbook Team will be!
Registrations will begin on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 10 a.m. You can register by
phone 417-326-2665 or by coming in. We have 50 spaces available, but we usually sell out in the first couple of days, so if you plan to come to the retreat, please call early in the day. All retreats require a NON-REFUNDABLE $50 deposit. The balance MUST be paid as follows:
September 11—Half of retreat balance due.
October 2—Full balance due
No refunds will be given after Sept 11, 2010
This year, in an effort to save you money,we are changing the way that we price our retreat. All the rooms in the Windermere conference center come with ONE double bed and TWO twin beds (not bunked). So you can choose your rate! We have rates from one to four people in a room! Just see our rates listed below!
We are also offering a $5 store credit if you bring a homemade snack to share and a $3 store credit for bringing a store bought snack! This way, there is something for everyone! We will provide drinks in the form of sodas, water, tea and coffee.
We will have lots of contests and games for you again this year—and we listened to your comments about prizes! You can enter layout contests, mini book contests, journaling contests, themed contests, and even a few surprise contests! Plus, for those of you who don’t like contests, we have prizes without a contest!
