Dear Scrap Nook Customers,
This day has finally come, and our little shop is closed for good. As I walked through the door tonight after the closed sign had been turned around and the blinds had been pulled, my heart was filled with so many mixed emotions. Part of me is so sad to see the store go--because I know I will miss seeing all of you as you pop in on occasion. I will miss seeing your creativity and ideas. I will miss the fun Friday and Saturday crops that brought us all close together as a family. On the other side of things, though, I am feeling a little bit of a freedom in shutting off that OPEN sign. It's freeing to know that I have the opportunity to try something new. I am looking forward to a new adventure. I hope you will join me and be part it! We hope to launch our website http://www.scrapnook.net sometime in late January or early February. We will e-mail you when we have things ready to go. As with all new things, I am sure it will get better and better as I learn the ropes of being an Internet Business.
For now, I want to wish my loyal customers a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year. If it weren't for the grace of God, I wouldn't have gotten to know so many of you. The Scrap Nook brought lots of joy to people's lives and created many, many friendships. But, without it, I would not be a Christian today. I am celebrating my fifteenth month in Christ, and it is because of one of my dearest customers that I am able to do that. Her impact on my life--through my store--and ultimately having to say goodbye to her, brought me to God. That one huge thing has made my store a HUGE success...maybe not monetarily, but I am rich now in ways that cannot be measured in dollars and cents. Thank you all for your part in my life and store.
Christmas Blessings,
Sheri Beersman
